  • Will not falsify any maintenance document.
  • Will make every reasonable effort to assist fellow certified individuals and businesses.
  • Will not perform or recommend unnecessary maintenance action for personal or financial gain.
  • No personal safety device will be altered without management or customer knowledge and approval.
  • No machinery will be modified without management or customer knowledge and approval.
  • Every reasonable effort will be made to properly accomplish maintenance actions.
  • Maintenance actions will not be reported as complete unless fully accomplished.
  • Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will always be used.
  • Any authorized machinery modifications made for operational reasons will be properly repaired at the earliest possible time.
  • While performing maintenance actions on electrical machinery power will be VERIFIED as DEAD prior to any maintenance.
  • Proper use of lockout and tag-out will be strictly adhered to.
  • Critical metering devices will never be disabled, altered or bypassed without management or customer approval.
  • Risk assessment will be performed on any action affecting personal or machinery safety issues and discussed with management or customer.
  • While performing corrective/proactive maintenance every reasonable effort will be made to determine root cause.
